AquiDplot Suite
A Computer Tool for Aquifer Test Analysis Using Diagnostic Plots, by:

Aquifer Diagnostic plot (AquiDplot) Suite Version 1, is a computer collection of three programs, for single well test interpretation using diagnostic plots (a log-log scatter plot of both drawdown and its logarithmic derivative vs. time). In the oil and gas industry, the pressure derivatives have revolutionized well test analysis by making possible to assess near borehole effects, formation heterogeneity, boundaries, flow regimes, infinite-acting radial stages, fracture-driven flow and well behavior. Here, we expanded the derivative capabilities to process pumping tests in aquifers and groundwater systems, by integrating key elements in AquiDplot.
This freeware suite includes: (1) AquiDplot-XLS, an easy-to-use, open-source spreadsheet, built-in Visual Basic, the programming language of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs (Microsoft Corporation), (2) AquiDplot-Web, an easy-to-use Web Platform, and (3) AquiDplot-App, an easy-to-use mobile app, ideal for collecting and assessing pumping test data at a field level.
These interactive tools allow to obtain semilog or log-log diagnostic plots, from a conventional dataset ‘drawdown vs. time’. The user can smooth the derivative signal noise, by means of a differentiation algorithm and estimate/assess properties such as hydraulic conductivity, transmissivity, storage coefficient, wellbore storage capacity, well skin, drainage area, fracture conductivity, channel-aquifer width, radius of investigation, distance to boundaries and flow dimensions. Finally, the numerical and graphical results can be exported as a pdf file Report.
AquiDplot has been developed with scientific input, primarily for the academic and teaching community (professors and students), interested in well test analysis.
